About Speeding Insurance.com

October 20, 2017

Speeding Insurance.com was launched in the summer of 2007 in an effort to insure persons who incure financial loss due to fees/tickets caused by accidental speeding.

It is Speeding Insurance.com's mission to protect the common automobile (and motorcycle) driver from over-zealous officers. It is our firm belief that many of these traffic-control officers are taking their part in the multi-billion dollar industry geared to catch the driver in a moment of inattentiveness.

Our Philosophy: Speeding Tickets are Unfair!

Estimates are that more than 100,000 speeding tickets are written every single day in the United States.

In one year, that's nearly 40,000,000 speeding tickets (roughly 20% of all licensed drivers)!

  • The average speeding ticket is about a $150 fine.
  • $150 fine x 115,000 daily tickets = $17,250,000 total daily fines.
  • If we multiply $17,250,000 daily fines by 365 days, we get $6,296,250,000 (6.3 billion dollars in yearly fines).

If speeding ticket collecting was considered an industry, it would rival many companies in the Forbes Fortune 500.

  • Because of the statistics provided above, we feel that the common driver is at a disadvantage. We feel with this much money at stake, truth often can take a backseat to greed.

In addition, the vast majority of drivers who are actually speeding are speeding accidently. Can you think of any other "crime" that you can do accidently?

Due to these reasons, we feel that fees for accidental speeding are unfair!

Don't pay another speeding ticket! Insure yourself against dishonest police officers, minor misjudgment, and an unfair system. If you get a speeding ticket, let Speeding Insurance© pay it for you!
